Hind Bouqartacha is a Moroccan photographer, videographer, phd student and the owner of “GUILE STUDIO” an art space studio based in Rabat, Morocco.

Hind fell in love with photography in 2013, while studying for her Master’s degree in Cinema Documentary in Tetouan, photography was for her this tremendous and creative potential to immortalize moments, to express freely and to discover the world and herself.

Since then, Hind has begun to experiment with her portraits, from self-portrait, conceptual, commercial and editorial, working with clients, models and getting inspired by everything around.

Hind’s clients portfolio include international and Moroccan brands like : Billboard magazine, TLC, Dove, Getty images, StoryBlocks, My Kilim, Sissi Morocco, Rhita Creations… and more.

In 2017, Hind won the 1st prize of photography at the "International Festival of Photography" in “Chefchaouen", and she exhibited with other Moroccan artists , at "The International Fair of Arts ESTAMPA" in Madrid.

Starting 2018, some of her portraits were published on the cover of the "Sortir Rabat" magazine for their winter and summer edition.

In December 2018, her photo-documentary serie “Piece Of Bread“ was selected to be exhibited at “Les Nuits Photographiques De Rabat“ for their 7th edition.

Starting 2019, she worked with Dove, Girlgaze and Getty images in the worldwide project “Show Us“, alongside 116 female photographers from 39 countries.

One of her pictures from this project was selected to be featured on billboards in Times Square-New York, Piccadilly Circus-London and many cities around the world, and published in magazines like “Harper’s Bazaar“ and “Grazia“.

In September 2019, she won The Photo District News (PDN) award.

In April 2020, she worked for Billboard magazine, for their Africa Now edition, photographing Marjana Jaidi the founder & creative director of The Oasis Festival.

In May 2021, she was one of the winners of The Kekere Storytellers Grants, funded by Africa No Filter organization.

From October, 7th, 2021 till April, 10th, 2022 , her work was exhibited at Oceano Alterado Exhibition In São Paulo, Brazil.

Starting 2023, she founded “ GUILE STUDIO “, a small art space for photography and videography in Rabat, Morocco.
